About subscription activation or credit-granting delays

Summary: Your bank's processing delays might mean you just have to wait a couple hours 😠

In most cases after a subscription is initiated or a la carte credits are purchased, they're active immediately in your account.

But sometimes this doesn't happen due to delays on your bank's side.

In that case, please wait a couple hours.

After that time, typically...

  • ❌ Your bank will instruct Udio not to honor the charge OR, more happily...

  • βœ… Your bank will approve the charge, notify Udio, and you'll get your subscription or credits

If, after a couple of hours, things still aren't right...

Your bank may have declined the charge

When this happens, you may be able to ask them to retroactively approve it, but your best bet is likely to use a different form of payment (e.g., a credit card from a different bank).

Try signing out of Udio and then back in again. If you still don't see the subscription or credits you're expecting, contact us (via the messenger icon on the bottom right) so we can investigate!
