Changing or canceling your subscription

Updated over a week ago

You can change or cancel your subscription at any time in just a few clicks online.

To activate your Standard subscription immediately during a trial

If you're on a free 7-day trial and you'd like to have an increased credit limit and be able to use your credits to make an unlimited number of two-minute songs, you can upgrade to the full subscription experience immediately. Here's how:

  1. Optionally choose between Monthly and Annual pricing

  2. Select "Upgrade Trial"

To upgrade or downgrade your subscription

Visit udio.com/account and select "Manage subscription"

Note that...

  • Upgrades will take place immediately and you'll be charged on a pro-rated basis.

    EXAMPLE:

    • Your U.S.-based monthly subscription renews every 1st of the month.

    • On the June 15th, you upgrade from Standard ($10USD/month) to Pro ($30USD/month)

    • You'll get credited $5 for the half-month of Standard you didn't use, and charged $15 for your half-month of Pro, meaning your net charge on June 15 will be $10.

    • On July 1, you'll be charged a full $30 for Pro.

  • Downgrades are less complicated :). Regardless of when you initiate it, your downgrade will happen at the beginning of the next monthly or yearly cycle and you'll be charged the rate of your new tier.

    EXAMPLE:

    • Your U.S.-based monthly subscription renews the 1st of every month.

    • On June 15th, you initiate a downgrade from Pro ($30USD/month) to Standard ($10USD/month).

    • You continue to have Pro access for the remainder of June.

    • When your next cycle starts (on July 1), your account will be moved to the Standard tier and you'll be charged $10.

To cancel your subscription

Visit udio.com/account and select "Cancel subscription"

Your cancellation will be effective at the end of your monthly or yearly cycle, depending on whether you signed up for a monthly or annual subscription. You'll have full use of your subscription until that time.
